B029 question

Hey everyone. I was just curious. Were all B029 Barracudas fastbacks?

Yes, all BO29 where 29 is a fastback body style...

I raced Hemi Darts because they were easier to get
down to the minimum legal weight when they were new
than the Cudas.

Many of you know that I built both a Dart and a Barracuda clones. Other than the Barracuda having a siamese bore block, Dana 60 and a four speed. The Dart had a 727, 8 3/4” and a water block…….these two cars were identical in builds. The Barracuda came in 40 lbs different.

Interesting. I could only imagine having both of these examples in the garage to know the truth. I love both body styles. Asked the initial question only because I had a chance to buy a notchback that was set up like a B029.

M y '67 with aluminum headed RB, 727, Strange S60, 8pt roll bar, sub frame connectors and no backseat weighs about 3,490. Fiberglass hood and decklid.
