after a month of complaining about a tranny leak i drove the dart back to the transmission man i found thru the local mopar club, told him do whatever it needs so it doesn't leak any more. he was hesitant to pull the tranny cause of the header issue but must of needed some $. after pulling tranny he found enough wrong to call me and suggest a rebuild including torque conv, clutches. 2nd gear band, drum, seal, bushings and rings. he also added a second cooler ahead of the radiator. i phoned for the bill before i picked it up and about fell over when he said 875.00. i've driven it the 40 mi from his shop and am waiting for a cooler eve temps to cruise. (about 90 now) he's fair and knows what he's doing. showed me all the worn parts and explained the repair, shoot the time spent on that was worth 50 bucks alone. so i'm back in the saddle again!
