Backspace question

70 Swinger here, 14" sbp wheels. Thinking about putting some Cragar SS on my car, would I be safe if I put a 14x7 with a 4.1 backspace on the factory 8-3/4 drum rear? Currently running factory rallies with BFG 245/60/R14 on the rear.

This is just MY opinion.... but those should be fine, with a reasonable tire choice.
Pull one of your factory rallyes, and measure the backspace, and compare to the Cragars. That will tell you where the new wheels extra width will be. Then you have to figure if that works for you.
(And if it was me? I'd go 15x7 with that same backspace)

Thanks, thats just what I was thinking, but Im being lazy by asking cause my car is still in paint jail and I dont have access to it yet
