Go to your local fabric store and get some vinyl and some glue and wrap your pad, it's like $50 worth of stuff.

Search the threads, couple threads about it.

Your best bet is the plastic dash cap. You glue it over your existing dash pad (if it's not all warped out of shape, if it is you'll need a core) and once done it looks completely original. It can also be dyed to match different colour interiors.
