The other thread about adding leaves to stock lead spring packs got me thinking...

What's a good rear spring setup for 440 4-door A-body? The car is a street car, no slicks. It's a street/highway cruiser with an automatic. No road racing. Advice and recommendations is appreciated!

espo HD, add however much lift you want for the level of stink bug stance you'd like.

i wouldn't run SS springs in anything i was looking for a comfy ride in.

I've seen others say that and I just cannot agree. I've run several sets on street cars and they never bothered me.

I have run SS springs on my street cars without a problem and nothing noticeable.
But if looking for new, ESPO or Eaton Detroit Springs are both good companies.
I have had Eaton make several sets over the years with increase spring rates along with the + or - value of how high or low you want the car to sit.2 door or 4 door as we have done many.
Maybe a local spring shop ? I know that they are becoming extinct anymore.
