I have a 74 Duster ready to die that is a disc brake, 7 1/4 BBP rear.
There are BBP 7.25 running around.
There are LBP and SBP 7 1/4 rears, but they each have there own axels, and housings. You cannot swap a LBP axle into a SBP housing.
any body make a replacment axel w/ the big bolt pattern for a 7-1/4 rear end??

Roy, do you know what year the 7 1/4 started using the "C" clip axles?Yup I have a 75 valiant with a BBP 7 1/4 with the 9 bolt rear cover. I also have a hybrid 7 1/4 with C clip axles and a 10 bolt cover that is BBP.
Was there ever a BBP 7 1/4? You may have to redrill for BBP but I am not sure if those ends have enough meat/surface area to do so. Perhaps a fill and then redrill.
i could probably weld them up and drill the new pattern.
Also, depending on the offset of your wheels, adaptors are also a viable option.
No I really don’t. I think it’s a 80’s Mirada, Aspen. Or Fifth ave.Roy, do you know what year the 7 1/4 started using the "C" clip axles?
Thanks, that explains why I have never seen a "C" clip 7 1/4. Never tore down a 7 1/4 that new. Only '60's and '70's. Though I have a couple rears from F,M,J bodies, here. Never even looked close enough to see if 7 1/4 or 8 1/4No I really don’t. I think it’s a 80’s Mirada, Aspen. Or Fifth ave.
