Thought someone might find this useful.
I switched my 8.75 rear end to BBP with some Dr. Diff axles and was trying to figure out what to do for brakes.
I had a 7.25 BBP that I pulled from my 74 dart, so I popped a backing plate off of it and tried it on the 8.75. It fit perfect.
I cleaned it up painted it and stuck it on, nice thing was that the brakes off of the 7.25 are bigger then the ones I had on the 8.75.
I had to make no modification it was a direct fit. Guess there is a use for the 7.25 after all!
And yes I did put the backing plates on backward the first time in case anyone noticed. I figured if it was worth doing it was worth doing twice! LOL
