Black and Yellow?

Have any of you tried registering a black and yellow plate lately? I heard they changed the rules on them recently

I have only 1 that came on my 1968 Dart. i live in Maryland...do you need two ? can i register it in calif. and drive in Maryland ?

Suposedly, around June or July in California the Black w/ gold letter plates can be used for YOM (year of manufacture). So if you get your hands on a DMV clear set now rather than when the prices go up.....your good to go.
