Also, If you want to run timing control, we offer a simple 2-wire module, if you want to convert a pro-series to a 2-wire.
The distributor will need locked out also, and the pro-series does offer that feature. You can swap the module while the shaft coupler is off for the lockout.

            Hey GT,
They can be locked out extremely easy. Just takes an Allen wrench. This version features a 2 wire module, opposed to a ready to run, so the sniper can control timing.

Hey Rob. IF you have an existing ecu of some kind...then yes you can use a carb, and my 2 wire for breakin. A 2 wire will not self sustain. If you want a ready to run, that is also compatible with the sniper, then you want this one...
PRO SERIES READY TO RUN DISTRIBUTOR | MOPAR SB 273-360 | V8 ENGINE | BLACK CAP

We CAN sell a simple 2 wire pickup that can be installed in the ready 2 run..if you want to do timing control down the road.
Does that help? Or answer the question? Let me know!

I have the Mopar electronic ignition installed on the car. I believe that's what you mean by ECU. The donor Dart had the Proform conversion kit installed when I bought it. Once the cam is broken in I am going to install the Sniper System. I would really like to get my money's worth and have Sniper control the timing. Thanks for a quick response.

Yup. That'll be fine. You can use my 2 wire, and keep the mopar box on the car for breakin. Then install the sniper...which will basically bypass the OEM wiring. And you will hook my distributor direct to the sniper.

I believe I would need to lockout the Mech advance? Any suggestions on plug wires? Would the OEM wiring work for a key on /cranking power source for the EFI?

On my dart, there Is a 12v female wire connector coming off the fuse box that is a 12v hot with key. or a simple toggle switch, or...there are 2 wires on the ballast that need spliced together to provide 12v in crank and run positions.

Yes the pro billet distributors are easily locked. They have a pin on the shaft that can lock the advance super easy. I have instructions I can send. Just let me know.

I forgot the plug wire question! I'm working on a badass set of BluePrint branded wires. Should be live pretty quick. Or...if you are moving quick. A quality set like msd or moroso is what I would do. Remember Male terminals on a pro billet...unless you buy a female cap.

How well do these respond to low vacuum engines with bigger cams? I’ve been told that this is problematic for the EFI to work correctly?

The sniper is pretty good with high performance engines. We have even run the super sniper on our 632. What kind of vacuum are you making?
