Not likely to install G70x14 with an adapter due to backspace issues. To use a adapter between 2 cars the tires will have to fit both cars, even if poorly.

There is only one car here. If you use a one inch thick adapter you simply buy a wheel with a one inch deeper back space then the wheel would be if there was no adapter being used.

I do not want to compromise the original wheels and hub caps as they are correct for the car...... There again, I want to use the Hurst wheels every now and then ... As I think they would look great on the car.

Oops! My plan won't work, looking at it on a phone I didn't see the Formula style hub caps with the ecposed lug nuts.

Those wheels are sweet but you need to be sure and watch the back spacing if you go with wheel adapters.
