only thing its a ferd, in the process of buying it will have to see what happens, its a 1968 ford mustang, 6cyl white with red interior. if I could figure out how to flip a picture to here I would post it.

Well, I gotta hand it to ya, postin anything 'bout ferds. However, at least you went with something from the way-back machine, instead of the new crap! Good luck to you and your wife on the new addition. At least you'll have your MOPAR to drive her around while her rustang's being Fixed Or Repaired Daily!

Ford has always been Fourth On Race Day (out of the big 3 that is pretty bad)

Mopar simple stands for Massivley Over Powered American Racing

Driver Returns On Foot. My wife owns a taurus. I can't wait till my ram is paid off so we can get a magnum.

 I am sure everyones just kidding. I am 100% mopar but I still like the older fords, best of luck

I traded my FERD Escort-turd in yesyerday for a Dodge Ram 1500. I was so happy, I danced a jig when I though I would never see that TURD, I mean FERD again.

Injoy the mustang, did the deal go thou for ya,any pic

Those were some good replies.
I will be going to pick it up next weekend. try this number in search on ebay 190066518141 for pictures.
flyboy01 I just scraped an escort got more for it that way then selling it
took out the pioneer cd, speakers and amp out of it for my ram, a full tank of gas went to my neon, probably get $30 for the cat convertor, my neighbor took the buckets for his ranger and I gave 2 tires to a friend at work. loaded the car with scrape metal and got $250 for it. got the car for free.

It's a love hate affair with me and Ford. It seems that you either get a really good one or a really bad one. Those Mustang 6 bangers are pretty darn indestructive though! Are you going to keep the 6?
I currently own 2 Fords. The 1990 Van (Which I am currently selling) has 120,000 on it and I haven't put a dime into it. It does need a new tranny though. My 1995 Windstar has 90,000 on it and is probably the only one in my neighborhood that hasn't broken down or been recalled (I guess it depends on the quality control at the plants they were built as well as the type of preventive maintenance that you do). I also owned an 86 Cougar that I sold with almost 200,000 on it and wasn't even blowing any oil! (A miraculous feat for a 3.8 V6 ford)

Enjoy your mustang. You may want to let the wife drive the more dependable Dodge though. You do not want to get stuck making those roadside assistance calls  (couldn't resist)

Nice that you got the wife an old ride for cruisin`. I think all the big American auto makers have made some great cars.

this car is going to stay stock. Unfortunatly the work on the dart will probably wait till the stang is set, appears to be less work. as my dart needs sheet metal work around the wheel wells. They will both be on the road this year. it was the easiest car purchase to get an ok with the wife  she was really peeod when I said I am going to Ohio to buy the dart :pain10:

Found On Road Dead My Chevy buddy said that Mopar stands for
My Old Pig Aint Runnin.
I can't really say anything about fords cause I own 2 but they bolth have mopar running gear in them.

Well not getting the mustang, after actually hearing my wife say O.K. to buy a vehicle, (not that I make a habit of asking her) dam near slept in the dart when I brought that home, its not the one she wants. she wants a 64.5, 65, or 66. I said there the same car, Well she told me otherwise. the 67 68 modles are bigger. I asked my body that runs a body shop just to confirm and she (dare I say it) is right. dohh.
so anyhow its has cost me around a $100 to get out of the bid. dam those fords cost money
