It's a long bed remember... LOL I think the "net" torque from the factory was 325. Don't know what that would be in gross. And, the 440 may push the stall up a little more - that's all torque relevant

I don't remember. Do you run the truck with the tailgate off or down?
up or down, never off. My wife loves the factory "Dodge" decal on the tailgate. So it stays.
Well, some tracks will tell you either leave it off or close it. They can become a projectile in a crash. Plus if you took it off, that's more weight gone.
Our track doesn't care. If there is a crash with my truck, there will be a lot more projectiles than an tailgate LOL
Well let's hope you ain't one of um.

The times some of these guys are throwing around and putting down the 440, I figured they were referring to it performing like a Ewe instead of a Ram. lol
Add a bug deflector on the hood and a tonneau cover on the bed for that nascar wind tunnel effect. that brick house will drag some air with her. J/k! Be worth a test
I swapped K-frames in the snow... but that was 30 years ago.... LOL

As stated above, my lab is at the track lolI ain’t doing your research for you.
I think the factory has determined what the engine is. The horsepower rating and the torque rating is widely available to the public. We know it’s not a 440 commando. I will not pretend that it is. The amount of videos will not turn it into a hemi and the amount of videos will not turn it into a slant six one barrel LOL

Run down is;
Forged crank, stock rods, forged TRW pistons at zero deck or thereabouts. Stock 452 heads, springs and a Hughes cam 228/232 @050. 110 .530 or so. Makes less than 400. Like I said, turd.

I think he “tuned” it up to 393 or something right? Let’s not forget everyone’s claims that westechs dyno is happy. I’ve said it for years, it is not, it’s just as hard to make power there as anywhere else.
