Hey all -
Should there be a return spring on the master cylinder plunger rod between the brake pedal and the firewall? Spring that returns the pedal to the rearward position (and against the brake light switch)? Mine has a spring, but it is way too soft, and my pedal is dropping towards the floor.
If yes, anyone know what spring to buy? I can go buy-and-try, but if you know the part number or found a good fit.
Since the single cylinder master is common from about 10 different cars in the early 60's, I assume all would have the same setup. Mine is for a 62 Lancer.
