Avanti II- these were built from '65 until the mid-'80s, I think.. No idea what year this is, but I'd guess it's an earlier example.

And here's one for you fans of ginormous '70s-tastic luxobarges- '75-'76ish Caddy Coupe DeVille.

Every other Monday during the summer, the general store/restaurant down the road from my mother-in-law hosts a cruise-in. Hardly any Mopars, and heavy on the '30s Fords usually, but what the heck. Now that my wife Sue and I are staying with her mother to take care of her (she's 93), this thread should get regular updates.

'77ish Chevy Malibu Classic Estate- My mom had one of these (a bright blue 400 V8 powered '75) when I was 12.. I was surprised and disgusted (then and now) at what a bloated, overblown dinosaurian pig Chevy's trim midsize car had become. The '67 Malibu wagon she had when I was 15 only reinforced this view.

Here is the 56 Olds Holiday Super 88 4 door Hardtop that I am trading my 53 pick up for. 240HP 324 with an auto and 65,000 miles

73 340 4 speed Cuda...edit, thought I was in Mopars in the Wild thread.

No harm done- you coulda told me that was a '69 Camaro, the condition it's in..

That '56 Olds is pretty sweet- love that dashboard.

For my fellow Ford pickup fans- a '78-'79 that's been sitting in this same spot for 5 years that I know of.. wonder if he'd come down on the price?

Yesterday was the biggest attendance of the "Shapleigh Monday-Nighters" cruise-in I've ever seen- easily 35-40 cars. Here's a few.

First, a pair of '48-'50 Ford F1s

Much as I've tried to lead her in the right direction, the '59 Chevy is still my wife's favorite classic car. (I like 'em too, how could you not?)

Especially with such a great ***.. hmm- same reason I fell in love with my wife.

Somewhat ratty but fighting the good fight, '67 Malibu sedan- the high water mark year of Chevelle styling, IMO.

Here's a pair that you don't see very often. For sale, he wants $7500 for the two of them, if I recall correctly. They're just down the road from me, if anyone is interested.

Wow- some great additions since I last checked this thread.. love that Citroen.

Okay- these aren't exactly "in the wild", but it was a small show (which I was late for besides); not worth their own thread.
