I was hoping that someone could suggest somewhere where I could get a nice bright set of headlights for my 72 Duster. I see these new cars with those crazy bright blue/white headlights and I want a set for my car!

If anyone could point me in the right direction I’d appreciate that!

Thanks,

James

You got relays?

Mopar lighting harness barely supports the old low watt factory installed headlights. New high output lighting requires upgrading lighting circuits using relays, and larger gage wire.

Dan can help you with the task, it’s easy, and his site has directions, and diagrams how to go about this upgrade. I made this change to my 1967 Dart last winter using Dan’s parts; big improvement just from wiring improvements.

Also put a relay on each headlight

Not necessary, one for relay for high beam circuit, and one for low beam circuit.

Relays...X4 or X5...hey, they work! My next project. Use existing headlight power wires to trip the relays that are direct battery fed, voila, 13.5V to your headlights. Even the stock ones are much brighter when you give them 13.5 volts!
