Still cheaper than buying another block.I thought I remember finding 5.7 cam bearings back when I built my engine years ago, but they were quite pricey so I didn't end up putting new ones in. It was something like $30 each instead of $30 for a set. Haven't looked in a long time though and not sure if the 6.1 shares a common size or not.
Ok thanks but block must of gotten very hot paint is burnt so may have fractures in the block now.yes they make upsize bearings but yea 30-45 each.

Yes you can repair the cam tunnel . But if the block is toast , WTF . It takes a good auto machinist to line bore the saddles and use over size cam bearings or , my favorite, roller cam bearings .
