Would like to know if you can swap out a cam on a 64 barracuda 318 without pulling the motor. Thanks for any info

Agree with Plymouth 65. I've done it several times (have owned my 65 since 68).

The only V8 in 65 Barracudas was the 273. If it is a 318, the original motor has been swapped. Or - a 273 looks just like a 318.

Apologies if you already know that.

I replaced the 273 with the 318 no need to apologize I understand you are just trying to help out with info

Yes, as long as you don't get carried away with the cam. Too much lift/duration and you may need to pull heads and/or pistons to get enough valve relief. Spring bind might be another issue with too much lift.
