Can I use a 340 flywheel on a 318 magnum

I have a flywheel from a 70 340 and want to know if it will be ok on a 95 318 Magnum.

I bought the mcleod flywheel for my 68 valiant. It has the option to change weights so in the future if I change combos I only have to change the weights bolted to back of flywheel. plus I like my feet. you also need the magnum metric flywheel bolts. Nobody that I found makes a cheapo flywheel for 318/360 magnums :violent1:

So do they make a 130 tooth flywheel for the 318 magnum? I will run a carb and distributor.

Ok I understand that the 360 is external balance but reading this it says the 318 mag is internal balance same as 273, 318 and early 340 engines.

Yes, if you dont run the stock fuel injection a regular 130 tooth neutral ballancer flywheel will work.
