i just wanna swap them over. Is there anything other than the basic machining that needs to be done for that to work??

Go for it! It's a nice little wake up on a "Teen". Increase breathing potential with out the drastic compression loss of going to 360 heads.

Years ago I did this using a pair of 273 heads on a "Teen", worked good enough to go 13.9 in my Barracuda, as an unsorted combination in the quater.

You could probably get the valves for free from some one who is up grading their 360 heads to 2.02's. Light bowl work/clean up after the seats are cut helps make this work.

Which heads are they? You can surely do it, but if they are simply regular 318 heads, why not find some better heads altogether? Maybe some 302s or Magnums. WIth the Magnums, no valve upgrade is necessary.....but not everybody likes goin that way. Just a thought.

Yes, you can. The MoPar "Engines" book recommends this upgrade.
As mentioned above, opening up the head under the valve is a very good idea. Bowl porting is not a must. So going that far is not needed though it is a good upgrade over just opening up the area under the valve, which should be the min. Work done.

Cool, well I got brand new recon. heads and the valves are free +shipping. So although I'd like to find some 302s or something ima just upgrade mine a bit! Thanks guys
