candy cane removal

1965 dart, how do you get the camdy cains off, how many screws, nut or other types of hardware are holding them in place. Is there any tricks involved?

There are several studs clipped into the moulding. You have to remove the nuts from the back side of the front filler/valance and the leading edge of the fender. You have to remove the splash guard from behind the headlights to gain access to those nuts. Soak the fasteners real good in WD40 before you try to turn them.

Biggest thing is you have to remove the front splash shields to hey at the nuts by the headlight buckets. There is around 6 fasteners holding each trim.
