I remember when I moved from NJ to Fl in '85 Bought my first car a Charger. I would drive all over in this Heat no A/C drinking Mountain Dew never bothered me. But, I was young and skinny. Times change.
I ended up going back out yesterday, to load a Nova on my car trailer I have to haul next weekend, the temp gauge on the truck read 110, had a couple friends stop buy, we had quite a few beers while loading the car.One thing I've learned, is the water you drink today is the water you will sweat tomorrow. When you're working in the heat, you need to drink a 16 of bottle of water every hour. That's sometimes hard for us stubborn old farts to remember, but heat exhaustion, and especially a heat STROKE are no jokes. I'm as guilty as anybody!![]()
