Carpet in 68 Barracuda

Hi I Bought some replacement carpet for the center console of my 1968 Plym . Barracudda coupe. It seems really long and drapes down to the floor and actually touches the gas pedal. Anybody have a picture of what the original or a good restoration is supposed to look like? My carpet guy put it in but it looks wrong. He glued it down so I made him remove the glue and want a good idea of the original before I go back. I am assuming the carpet is made to fit several of the Plymouth cars from the period. Help, send some pictures if you can!

You can trim it to land where you like. From the factory it did drop down a good distance. If the skirt was ordered for your a-body console it should be correct in both length and width. It was glued only to the console. The bottom isn't glued to the floor carpet.
