What are the engine specs for the 1969 Chevy Chevelle SS and 1957 Chevy Bel-Air from the Tales from the Crypt episode called King of the Road? The only thing that I know about the '57 Chevy is that it has a 4 on the floor and a 429. That's it I know nothing else about either Chevy. Here's the photos for both of them.

When it came out, I really wanted one - you have to look at what was available back then - this looked awesome, and 300HP - unheard of during the early 90s

View attachment 1714957062...Wow...my husband just bought me a 1964 Triumph TR4...I had no idea he did this until the truck showed up to deliver the car...talk about a surprise...I had told him I loved the TR3 I drove for years and he just decided to buy me a TR4...kinda rocked my boat as we just bought a new GMC Canyon truck this past June...now between my 1975 Scamp and the Triumph plus the truck I have quite a selection to choose from when I drive...Marla

back in HS a kid a couple years older had a 55 chev, fiberglass front, 4 speed, engine??, maroon, black roll and pleat interior..... it had that stance, that look, and run pretty good. ya know what it gave me!
first fast car I had a ride in was my buddy's cousin's 64 impala, 409, 4 speed. yes it laid us wayyyy back in the seat. he traded it in to the chevy dealer, wow I wanted that. a black dude bought it and promptly blew the engine. guess it was a blessing I didn't get a hold of it!
I have had bought ever mopar built, from hemis to max wedge to slants and all in between. I passed on my choice of 3 superbird projects a buddy had. all V codes. all missing important stuff like wing, or fenders, or nose. bout '95, $5000 take my pick. ( he could find bargains like a blood hound)....
ha
what I really want now is a decent early A body wagon project. cheap! ha... like I need another project.

Old Jensen Interceptor with the BB Mopar.
those are nice.......I have a 73 and 74 Jensen Interceptor....if one is good two has to be better right....lol It is hard to believe the first year Barracuda is longer, wider and taller than the Interceptor...

PICS!!!!!!!!!! They are small. I never knew anything about them until I painted one. Popped the hood and was surprised to see a big block shoe-horned in there.

Black Betty the day I carried her home......she is currently on the lift.....

the Tangerine Machine is currently getting a bit of body work as I get a minute here and there....

I have always liked old Ford trucks! I was gonna fix up my 1972 f100 my Dad gave me, but decided to fix up a Dart instead since I love Mopars more...
