66fs is correct. The KISS method works well for mild applications. If your not overly concerned about every last bit of .001 lift but your just looking to do some basic hot rodding, the OE rocker will be fine. Use with mild spring pressures on medium lift cams and all will be good.

Im not sure what the OP has in mind for a performance goal in terms of a 1/4 mile time though racing the car may never happen, but a good example of a basic build is when you look at the MP Speed tip section. There cams aren’t a big lifting stick. There cams are low lifting but with a good jump in duration. With a good valve job, the engine performs. Bowl work a plus on some of the tip times is very helpful but not needed if your not bracket racing.

I agree. But IIRC the OP already has them. So it’s a bit of work and some pushrods.

I like to be able to set the preload at 1/8 turn. A 1/4 turn for just driving around.

I do also, but typically if it is general high performance, I use shims. They get me close enough for a hydraulic cam, and as you know, it makes a difference. But I personally don't run hydraulic cams. It all depends on what you are up for, how we spend our time, and what is the benefit. Racing is another ball game, and I rarely give an opinion on that forum.

No problem using them. How much difference did they make?

I'm probably going pretty mild cam-wise, something in the mid .4's lift certainly not over .5 lift but still looking. It's a light duster with 4.10 gears but only street driven, as for converter...something cheap, may even try using the /6 converter I have or a one out of a 318.

          stock rockers
          lunati voodoo
          good to go
oil through the pushrods if concerned about rocker cup wear
          use single springs
beehives would be a better investment than adj rockers AND pushrods
cut the guides for viton seals
did you post your compression and all the other details?
318 converter will work with a torquey cam
remember the balance adapter or find a 360 converter
late hp 360 converter for value build

Yeah, your good with the stock hydraulic rockers. 4.10's in a Duster with a warm 360 not sure how you will keep from loosing traction.

Yep. Use them if you want to screw with them, the pushrods and the adjustment. I doubt there will be any horsepower gain. If so only marginal. Not worth the effort.

Got to get pistons, so compression is up in the air at the moment, would like it to run on 91oct if possible.

Do you have a part number for the cup adjuster and where to get them?

you can get 3/8 24 thread 5/16 cup from rocker arm unlimited they also have 3/8 ball and 7/16 thread 3/8 ball (bigger is better)
don't ask how I just misspelled bigger but it's a nearby key
for worn threads or if you want to slide the ball over for 1.6 ratio
I think b3 also has them, hughes I think Smith brothers
