Sorry for your loss and no cat will ever take Clyde's place but I'll bet a new kitty will be knocking on your door looking for some help soon, Kitty and you are cat magnets, we need more folks like you.

I agree. No one will ever replace Stripey (below), that went to heaven 1 1/2 years ago after 16 years of ownership; but we got a new rescue cat a few weeks ago that is wonderful in her own way. Although the happiness from Stripey can never be replaced, I'm very happy to be able to provide lots of love for a new cat from a shelter that had no family to love her.

Lots of animal lovers here, I've got a 19 year old cat, Abby and have takin' in a few strays myself.
Here is one for the books. My yellow shop cat had kittens today. My gray shop cat had them Sunday but lost them
Gray cat stayed with the yellow cat during the birth, and cleaned them all and took to nursing them. 5 yellow kittens

Harvey, "The Great White Cat." Pink skin and toes, all white, except for his huge green eyes. He was 22 lbs at one point. Had been declawed by the previous folks, but he could jump from the kitchen floor to the top of the fridge
Lil Bug, my favorite. She was a stray on a county road on a late afternoon oil furnace call.
Below, Marti, my last. I had gone down S of Spokane to see about some tractor parts and we were in the owners garage. One of the kids came up to me and says, "wanna cat?" She was nestled in a cubby in the garage. They had other animals, she had showed up and didn't get along well with the others.
