Here is the centre link out of my 1969 Valiant Six-Oh-Matic. I'm installing a 408 Stroker via Schumacher mounts for the 5.9 Magnum block. From what I have read there is a differance in the centre links between the 6 and eight cylinder engines. Based on that I'm assuming this is a V8 centre link. Am I right?:prayer:

The center links are all the same drop type from 67 model and up.

Well, close. There were two center links from 67-up (67-72 and 73-76), but there was no longer a difference between what came on a slant car and a V8 car. The difference is in the direction of the idler and pitman arm studs and the amount of drop needed on the link to clear all engines.

I thought I answered his question. He didn't say he was changing the suspension, just the engine.
