Cheap spare tire well replacement ideas

I have seen a guy use the bottom of a metal garbage can for the spare tire well, back before they were available....NOT ME!!!

You can get just the bottom of the well for like $150 from Sherman or Goodmark. If you go with a street sign or some other weird odd pieces to save $150, it'll cost you a lot more than $150 when it's resale time.

I would try to score a used original, as some repros (I won't say all, 'cuz someone will prove me wrong) don't even include the tank strap brackets on them...

The AMD trunk floor incudes the gas tank bracket. It is supplied loose, but it is included

cheap can mean poor quality as well as low price, where inexpensive refers only to the price.
