Chewy.com - Great customer service!

We've been ordering our dog and cat stuff from chewy.com for the last year or so. The wife loved it, as with the free shipping it was cheaper than wal-mart, plus you don't have to lug the 50 pound bags around. They also have automatic shipments, so they'll send food or whatever at intervals you specify.
Our dog passed away last night (this isn't about that, I have a different post for that).
We had just gotten a shipment last week with dog food, and some hip-joint pills. Angie emailed them this morning to see if we could return this stuff. They emailed back immediately, with a full refund for the stuff, and told us to donate it to a local shelter.. awesome.
Angie emailed back thanking them, again they emailed back immediately, telling us they are dog lovers too, and understand. They had also already adjusted our automatic order to remove the dog stuff.
All this on a Sunday morning, and obviously being answered by a human being.
Great customer service! I'll recommend them to anyone!

I try to shop local as much as possible because soon we won’t be able to. At 63 I can still lift 50 pounds but I might not be able to when I get old.

We use them too, had the same deal with food our critters wouldn't eat.

They refunded and advised us to donate it.

We figured the cost a bit differently apparently as it comes out as almost a wash on 16 or 22 pound bags, but it does save lugging those bags around the store and in and out of the car.

Nothing but pleasure here dealing with Chewy. No lugging heavy bags and I don't pay local taxes. Finally got the auto-delivery dialed in. Took awhile.

Chewey was awesome for us. On the last order my Buddy passed before delivery. They asked us to donate and gave full credit.

We use them now to feed the birds.

They have been awesome IMO!

Hope your wife had the same experience mine did. They were caring, understanding and generally great! Made the ordeal just a tad easier!

We still buy from them even without a household pet, friend and such. The Birds and more need to eat as well.
