Christmas Dinner

Spiral cut honey ham,smashed taters n gravy,cheeze an mac,corn bread,kimchee,lemonade and not sure of dessert. We do turkey at thanksgiving and ham at christmas normally, but sometimes we have lasania,fahitas,pork roast or ribs just to change it up a bit.
 
spiral cut ham,just cleaned a 2yr.country ham and will have that for the ones that like it (ME) scalloped potatoes, my bake beans, deviled eggs.and Apple and pumpkin pie with real whipped cream..the drinks are egg nog made with homemade ice cream,sweet tea,milk or sodas.........if that's not enough they can go down the street..hohoho..........Artie

Quite a spread Cliff.
We actually celebrated Christmas today, since my wife has to work the
24th,25th,&26th.

We had:

Ham
Sweet Potatoes
Mashed Potatoes
Corn Pudding
Green bean casserole
Dinner Rolls
Cheese Cake
Apple Pie
Christmas Cookies

all this talk has made me hungry again!
 
We kind of go all out and usually have about 15 family members. Here is our menu for this year and we serve it kind of buffet style.

Roast turkey
Dressing
Ham
Mashed potatoes
Gravey
Cranberry's
Cracked Lobster
Scallops
Carrots
Green beans
Hungarian cabbage rolls
Rolls (white & whole wheat)
White wine, Red wine and Sparkling wine
Tea or coffee
Pickles (many kinds)
Pickled beets
Soft drinks for the younger folk
Apple pie and ice cream

There is probably more but I just can't think of it right now.

Went to dinner at my brother's house last night and he made his world famous stuffed roast. Butterflied eye of round filled with cheese, spinach and prosciutto ham. Rolled up like a cinnamon roll. Drippings to sop up with your bread. All the usual side dishes.

Eat up fella's. Christmas comes just once a year!!!
 
We are having our feed today, Started cooking yesterday, this is our menu this year.
Turkey,Stuffing, mashed spuds,gravy, mixed veggies,
Ham,sweet mashed spuds and veggies,
Swedish meatballs,
Baked pickerel in a garlic butter sauce( My fav)
apple and pumpkin pie,
And then off to the couch LOL,:drinkers:
 
Treva and I had our grandchildren and son's and daughter in-laws over yesterday
here on the hill, then to there house on Christmas morning.

My grandsons drove his car (his first car is a MoPar) so he could get back to his day, but not before
a photo shoot.

ahhhh we have a 15 lb rib roast,twice baked potatoes,green been casserole,orange jello and yeast rolls !!!!!!!!!!!!! Once a year treat for the family--Steve
 
Well, we have 14 people coming over to our little house, and all are Prime Rib lovers, so in lew of any gifts for the adults, Mrs. C and I put out the spread. This is the largest roast we've done, last years was only 19 lbs!!! Merry Christmas all, Geof
