Hey Guys. Here is the video we started on our installation for the Classic Auto Air on our 68 Barracuda. Appreciate all of the help I got from you guys before hand.

Thank You, please highlight any issues you have and how you resolve them. I would appreciate that. I have been really wanting to go with one of these systems, but I've been apprehensive about how many issues I've seen.
I wanted to start driving my car before I created more projects for myself. I didn't want to deal with pulleys again so soon after my previous go-round.

The editing needs work. Really hard to listen to, with almost every sentence chopped off at the beginning, end or both

Great feedback. I wanted to keep it moving and not get boring but I will try to improve the editing.

Good video otherwise, and that fitment of the box is typical from anyone's installation that I have seen.

I would watch this multiple times as I want to do the same, but information appears to be lost during editing.
I am seeing what look like lense flair at many of the scene transitions.
A few suggestions:
Lay out all the parts, provide part #s in video and description.
Watch the video as you edit it, and watch the full video before posting.
Record multiple versions of the same steps, future you will thank past you when editing later.
No disrespect intended, just trying to help.
It appears the work you do is top notch, and like many of us, YouTube is not a job, just a way to try to help others.

This is EXACTLY the type of constructive criticism I am looking for. THANK YOU! I absolutely will do this moving forward. I was worried about boring people to death, but yes, I left a lot out here. Thanks again!
A couple of suggestions: I have the CAA system on my 70 Dart.
1) unless they have changed things there is no bracket for the electric heater control valve. Below I will post my bracket. I would suggest that you make one that suits you. When I asked CAA said tojust let it flop around with the heater hoses. NOT.
#2 I trashed their itty bitty glove box and modified a later plastic A-body glove box and that let me mount the controller and relay in the glove box - protected but accessible.

Here is the latest on our Classic Auto Air installation. Please forgive the last part of the video that I missed editing. We finally eliminated the flickering issues.
So now you Know why the instructions from Classic recommended connecting the box to 12 volts and testing it ON A BENCH before installing the box. Looking forward to future installments. I'll be interested in how you route the drivers side ducting ( be careful of the movement of the wiper arms!!!).

Another huge enhancement for installing any A/C in older cars is to use a Dynamat Extreme type panel resonnation damping material in combination with a double-sided foil covered jute mat sealed with aluminized duct tape.
The difference in effectiveness is night and day. From the bottom of the windshield to the bottom of the rear window, both sides and ideally under the headliner.

3 or four folks on here tried to figure out the ducting a while ago, but no magic bullet. I ran the duct high and the wiper arm grabbed the duct and pulled on it and caused a main power wire to come on and off until you turned the wipers off. We of course found this out in driving rain on a twisting piece of two lane on the California coast, with the ignition cutting in and out and nowhere to pull over. We finally got off the road and I ripped out the duct and left it out for the rest of the trip.
Find us a fix and be our hero!

Thanks Memike! You're not too far down the road. Hope we can meet someday. If you're ever on I-40 near Fort Smith we are just right across the state line near Roland, Oklahoma.
That sounds great, let me see..ah.... I go to fort Smith to an inlaws giant BBQ in early to mid spring, they put my wife and I up because they need a drummer and seems like a happy person like myself to bring joy to there get together, they moved there from Orlando Florida and get a kick out of my mix language/accent of Arkansas/California/Florida and Michigan...lol.
I will ask my sugar britches of 45 years when that is.
Wait, forgot my mother inlaw moved to Oklahoma, can't think of the collage city's name off hand so YES, I will be heading that way sometime threw out the years because I ain't young yeah know, that makes them very old.
Now I remember!! Stillwater Oklahoma... amazing what that 3rd cup of coffee will do for yeah.

My buddy 3D printed this oval duct that you can stuff in the area above the gauge cluster. I have aftermarket gauges, but this worked great for me. He can print more, I'm sure he still has the CAD models. If people are interested I'll try to get him to jump on here and give everyone a price. It was 2 pieces and I glued it together with JB Weld Plastic weld.

Yep, Stillwater is just Northwest of us about 25 miles.
Perfect!! I am SOOOO!! looking forward to seeing your mopar stash and that great looking shop, this will happen, father inlaw is 94 , mother inlaw just turned 80, they love it up there. It is a cool neat clean collage town.
More like 200 miles. Stillwater is in the upper part of central Oklahoma. I'm in Shawnee off I-40(smack dab in the middle), 150 miles west of Roland.

You are correct go-fish. I got it confused with Stillwell, Ok. We are Texas transplants still trying to learn the area. Lol.
Did you make it to the Southern Plains Mopar Fest? In the future I would like to start a little FABO get together there. I missed it this year due to my Cars n Coffee event I run being scheduled on the same day. I'm refining dates for next year so there's no conflict.
I am 30-40 minutes east of OKC, about 6 miles S. of I-40. If you are ever traveling this way hit me up.
