Cleaning that white fuzzy stuff off carbs

I cleaned my carb body with carb cleaner and rinsed it with water. Now it has that white powdery spots on it which I assume is light oxidation. What's the best way to clean that off?

Here is what works for me. Simply use baby wipes to remove oxidation & then treat with a good aluminum preservative like the one Harley offers. This stuff is great, only $15 & keeps the fuzzy's off my carbs when cars are stored all winter.
