I recently got some 3 way comp shocks on the 75 dart and I was curious about set-up.

With decent track prep, it 60's at 1.8 something with the best being 1.81. I have the front shocks set so they are easiest to pull apart and have the rear shocks so they are easiest to push in.

I have SS springs on the car and an 8 1/4 with no pinion snubber.

With the way the SS springs work would it make more sense to set up the rear shocks so they were hardest to depress?

I don't have a high stall so it is not violent. MP 2400-2600.

I tend to get better 60's when I leave at 2,000 but that is all my brakes will hold anyway without risking pushing through the lights. The front end does rise but I am a long way from pulling that tire, the rear squats just barely.

I thought if I set the rears on the hardest to compress setting it might not squat in the rear at all and help those SS springs do their job.

You are correct, those springs need to work in order to get the full benefit. The car shouldn't squat at all but rather rise in the rear about 2 inches.

And you don't need nor should you use a pinion snubber with SS springs. There is so much misinformation out there.
