o.k....who is running one of the small voodoo cams with single springs and damper?
i have new 901-16's on the shelf that are suppose to be good to 1/2" lift.

..and sometimes a post with an edge livens things up and gets some new guys posting.
30,000 members but the same small group are the only regular posters....

Ive ued a few voodoo lunatis lately and have been very happy with them. A hyd flat tappet 213/220 in a eddy headed 318 with 8.5:1 and is plenty ballsy around 320hp. A 243/251 solid in a 360 headed 318 that has gooe 112mph@3525lbs. Have a voodoo solid roller on the shelf for my next 418 cube stroker when i get around to it. Overall very happy with them.
The lifters that came with the hyd flat tappet had several defects and i had to send a few back, they are low buck lifters that come in the kit though.
I used howards edm lifters on the solid and they were excellent but cost more than the cam

What kind of defects did you run across?

Those could have been surfaced out. You shouldn't have had to pay for it, but they are fixable.

They were about 40 thou deep, Summit simply sent us replacement ones free of charge
