Correct early A hood bumpers

I found the correct hood bumpers for the early A cars. Part number metro HF 19-G at rock auto for 2.92 each. These are not like the wrong ones supplied by mega parts. My original one is on the far left and the Metro HF 19-G is the middle one and the one supplied by Mega parts is on the right, this one doesn't even touch the hood when hood is shut. The Metro one is an awesome reproduction and believe it or not cheap!

While we're at it, can someone give a tip how to install these? I have no muscle enough to push it in, must be a trick for it?

While we're at it, can someone give a tip how to install these? I have no muscle enough to push it in, must be a trick for it?

Yea it just takes muscle, have you tried putting some Vaseline or silicone paste on them? It will help.

I received the same ones you have pictured in the bumper kit I purchased also.
