Is there a company out there that makes reproduction radiator hoses with correct look and part numbers for our '64-6 A-body 273 engines? I can modify a Gates or Dayco hose, but, if someone reproduces them already, I'd rather go that route. Thanks, Mark

Gates 20416 is the correct top hose for non a/c cars. It is cut to fit. I cut a new one in a few months ago.

I haven't replaced the bottom hose since 2011, so I don't recall which one I used back then. And must've forgot to write it on the back page of my service manual.

I'm looking more for a show quality restoration hose. Something with the proper markings on it. I may have to resort to making a Gates or Dayco work and make some stamps for all the numbers and letters, but, if someone is already doing it, it will save me time and effort. There are a couple of places that have a complete kit with bypass hose, clamps, fittings, and both hoses, but, I don't know if they are exact reproductions, or, just rebox of existing aftermarket hoses.

If you do find some, let us know. My car's not show quality yet, but some day, I'd like to get it there.

There used to be an outfit all over eBay, selling all kinds of repro correct parts like this for '60s Mopars (spark plug wires, hoses, belts, battery cables, etc). Damned if I can remember the name, and I can't seem to find any such auctions now, so I guess they went away. I bet someone on here knows who I mean and will shout out the name.

Sylvain, in Quebec, offers these and says he'll make whatever numbers you need. His own website is here

Thanks Dan. I've been able to find wires, belts, and cables. It's just the hoses that seem to be tough. I have an NOS upper hose to go by, but don't really want to use a 50+ year old hose. I may just have some ink stamps made with the correct numbers and put them on a Gates hose.

…and now I've had some sleep, I remember the name: Atlas, whose newer site is Mopar Mall. I see hoses there, but not inkstamped ones, so maybe you'd still be hitting up Sylvain for stencils.

Yeah, I saw the ones from Mopar Mall. I'll have to contact them to see if they're resto hoses, or, just replacements. Temecula Valley Moparts have the same kit, so, not sure who's making them. Don't want any Chineseum stuff on this build if possible.
