Cotter pin size for lower ball joints

Need to change the oil pan gasket to kill a leak. Haynes says to drop the center link for clearance. I dont want to reuse the cotter pins in the lower ball joints. Anyone know what size I need to replace them with? Thanks.

I just by an assortment at the auto parts store and use what fits.

Yep, not too small, not too big.

1/8" diameter by 1 1/2" length should work.
