terminals. I normally just solder everything I wire. I have to rewire the the front half of a bike. The bike will be getting torn apart over the winter so soldering is not a good idea. So what are folks using for crimping pliers for these connectors? I have been looking and seen pliers from $25 on up to several hundred bucks......

This can help get you started

first what kind of crimp do you want to do, weather pack or just some butt connector, weather pack summit or jegs that has the removable jaws to change the crimp, the butt connector from the auto parts store there should be a tool some place close to them

Have wired more than my fair share of auto's as well. I normally just solder/shrink tube everything but being that the bike will be coming apart in a few years to be completely refinished might as well make it as easy as possible. The company that powder coated the frame did an absolutely miserable job. The tank had to have a nickel coating put in it to keep the fuel from seeping thru it. The shop that did that did an equally crappy job as the plating has peeled off in a few spots. When I purchased the bike years ago I had zero time on my hands so I had a shop put it together for me. I have been chasing problems ever since.

Thanks for the link Mike, I will be ordering a pair here shortly.....
