Hey guys!:glasses6: My name is....71showdart:dink: and I'm cudaspaz' friend. We went today and got that car he was talking about earlier! It is a beast. I will MOST DEFINATLY post some pics once I get my camera set up. I already snapped a few of the car, but I need to set up the camera for this computer first.

So, I hear you guys are pretty smart..aka knowledgable. Dunno, probably a few smart ones here too. Lol:tongue6:

Well, goodnight. I've got church tomorrow or a few hours I guess. Just wanted to say hey.

We will post some pics up of before and after we clean it. It needs a good bath.

I have heard about your car from John and it sounds like you found a nice ride. Congrats! I can't wait to see it.

John has inspired me on doing my Cuda along the way and we have discussed just about everything. I hope one day soon we will get together. He is a good guy!

Here's a few pics we took last night.
I'm getting ready to upload more tonight after we detailed it.

I just can't believe how straight this car is.
it only had 41,000 miles on the clock and the pedal pads are not worn at all.

Truly a beautiful score and that little slant-6 runs like a champ with plenty of power.
The clutch chatters quite a bit and I need to try to get some adjustment out of it.
I lost my headlights last night on the last leg of the trip home, I hit the highbeams and everything went dark.
Thankfully I was on a second hand road and had Andrew pull ahead of me so I follow behind his lights.

I played with the switch connection today and they are working fine now.

The car is really very filthy in theese pics so we will get more up soon.

I was going to roll the cuda out of the garage with the new chromed bumpers on and take some pics of both cars side by side, but we ran out of time.
 
He's got ton's of daylight pics from today.

We spent all day after church cleaning and detailing.
I steel wooled ther rear bumper which had to have been rechromed because it now looks perfect.

The front bumper needs rechromed though, but fine for now.

All the chrome trim and emblems are in the trunk and just need installed.

It does need some new carpet and the drivers seat recovered.

The carb has a leaky gasket and the rubber door/trunk seals need replaced.

Definitely a good fix it as you drive it.

I've already got about a million mod's running through my head, but this car is so nice as it is, I would not feel right if we just did not freshen it up in bone stock form, but a front disk brake and master cyllinder change will definitely be warranted.

Hey now I can actually have something cool to take to the Mopar club meetings till the cuda breathes it's first breath.

Ha ha, yeah, we took the hood scoops off to clean and wax under them.

It sure is nice to have a mopar friend to help you get that sweet looking swinger home.:toothy7:
You have dun a good job cleaning and locating and getting a
mopar man "cudaspaz" to help with the move.
I like the 69 satellite in the back ground with the trunk open.
cudaspaz!!! Great job sir,:angel5: and keep an eye on him, and make sure he helps you on the cuda.:blackeye: Glad to see a new young member ready to take care of a great old A bodie Dart Swinger!!.
