Truth^^^^^
Well now, are you offering a trade? Last I asked I was told I’d have to pry it from your cold dead hands.
Ok fine. I’ll take the dart.No man in history has ever said this, so everyone remember this moment. My wife WONT let me get rid of the duster, and she doesn’t even like it.
with all these guesses, somebody is going to get it 100% correct lol100 days to go!

Unless you break into the 12s or totally breakwith all these guesses, somebody is going to get it 100% correct lol
Here, here! Let's not talk about break downs!! LOL.. If it were to happen, and it wasn't major, I would fix it and return to the track. Now breaking into the 12's is a conversation that sounds interestingUnless you break into the 12s or totally break
Dan
I'm sorry that's not going to happen with the current 440 configuration, but it should be easy in the future, even with low compression. Now breaking into the 12's is a conversation that sounds interesting
well, I'd still rather talk about "breakin' 12's" vs "break'n down" LOLI'm sorry that's not going to happen with the current 440 configuration, but it should be easy in the future, even with low compression.
I'd be eyeballing the 11's with an up in compression, cam and decent ported iron or aftermarket head, it would be imminent.
I can't help with that, maybe the juice guy's can help with the 12's and the break down, I heard there's usually a puff of smoke when it happens. sometimes it just sneeks up. lolwell, I'd still rather talk about "breakin' 12's" vs "break'n down" LOL
Here goes the big jinx ...... (i really shouldn't) ......I can't help with that, maybe the juice guy's can help with the 12's and the break down, I heard there's usually a puff of smoke when it happens. sometimes it just sneeks up. lol

.....
I have never oiled down the track or broke down there. Ever. About 36 years.
There I did it, the 440 will get out there and barf all over the track...

While true, high HP engines stress everything more, technically a stock slant can break. Remember, I'm racing about a 50-year-old engine that's not been rebuilt. Do I expect it to break?? Naw......It's not going to make enough power to break. There's been more than one 500 hp bracket 440's built with cast cranks, LY rods, and forged domed pistons that have went for several seasons between rebuilds.
Careful what you say or RRR will chastise you for pissin in 318wr’s kool aid.I'm sorry that's not going to happen with the current 440 configuration
Fixed it for you. There's been more than one 900 hp bracket 440's built with cast cranks, LY rods, and forged domed pistons on 15psi

Fixed that for Ya', no charge........Here, here! Let's not talk about break downs!! LOL.. If it were to happen, and it wasn't major, I would fix it and return to the track. Now breaking into the 12's is a conversation that sounds inSANE....
question: Would you expect an RV440 in a D150 with somewhat of a "stall" (2800 ?) and headers to beat a stock 5.9 magnum (4bbl/headers) in a full size '89 van with bed, table, and chairs, and a towing torque converter??? I promise you the van is WAY heavier.Fixed it for you.

I’ll take the 5.9 magnum all day long and twice on Sunday.question: Would you expect an RV440 in a D150 with somewhat of a "stall" (2800 ?) and headers to beat a stock 5.9 magnum (4bbl/headers) in a full size '89 van with bed, table, and chairs, and a towing torque converter??? The van will run 15.4's-15.5's in the 1/4, and 9.9's in the 1/8.
