Here is what I did with my bezel.

Note the 3 screws (not stock)

The squared off bezels in posts 19 and 20 above are NOT for a 67 with GT trim and will not fit.


If the screw posts on the back are intact, ( not the blade shaped ones) I would have it restored.

Well ... one screw post is intact. However, wouldn't one be all I need? I think the screw posts in the 67 were meant to help anchor the bezel onto the dash (because the plastic tabs were a terrible design). If I'm going to drill holes through the front of the bezel, there shouldn't be a need for two screw posts. One would probably suffice to stabilize the heater control against the bezel.
 
Sorry, my point was if the screw posts in the back are intact you wouldn't need the front screws.


If the posts were gone like mine, you could use screws like I did or you could probably use an adhesive but removing it in the future would be a bear.
