Dart tire/rim fit question

67 dart
7-1/4 rear
13 inch stock steel rims with drums

The question
Will 14x8 Magnum 500 style rims with 4-1/2 back spacing and 225/70/14 fit in my wheels considering I would have 1 inch bolt pattern adapters in there to get to the 4-1/2 bolt circle from my current sbp.

My car is tucked away, and I just found a set of used tires and wheels that I like,but need to make sure of clearance for both height and width in back as well as front.

Any thoughts or experience appreciated.

Bob, I don't have an answer regarding the use of adapters. Most will tell you not to. My suggestion is to find a pair of axles from a 73 and later A body 7 1/4 rear end and install them.

i think that spline count is different.

OP, i had the same size tires on a stock 68 dart, 4 wheel drum and 7.25. Now i had the front low and would rub until i removed that brace from the top wheel lip, then i was golden. that said i was just using rally wheels with no size or BS for you but i bet you need more BS with that spacer
