Downside: I just got a graphical display of what is going on with my quarter of a million in investments. Lost 10% in the last year thanks to you know who and what

1978 dodge hotrod truck. Has a 440 big block with a b body car 4 speed. A pistol grip shifter. Has 70 road runner scoops welded in the box sides. Has a b body 8 3/4 rear end with a 391 sure grip. Truck runs and drives sounds cool and gets compliments every where it goes 10,500 obo call or text five.........
Possible trade for nice enclosed racecar trailer.

The other downside? I don't know how in hell this guy gets around WA state emissions laws.

That thing has some goofiness to it. I think I'd put another grille on and get rid of the hood scoops. The roadrunner side scoops actually don't look bad at all. For 10.5k obo I'd buy that thing all day long. Gonna be loud and fast and definitely not comfortable at all from the drivers seat but that's the fun part right there.

Also congrats on only losing 10%. You're ahead of most lol

Don't do it Del.......I sold a 15k guitar collection when I retired and bought a project 1971 Demon. Now I'm insanely behind the eight ball and will never recover the loss......Your investments will come back.

I may not live that long. It's getting to the point that "how long" do I have before I need that money? At my age (74) that could be anytime.

That’d be a cool truck. I like it. Im
Curious what shifter linkage he used, I’d like to put a standard non OD 4 speed in another truck I have.

Yeah congrats on only 10% from me as well. I say make an offer, it is a buyers market if you ask me. Bad time of year to sell too.

Looks like a whole lot of fun. Why not?

As for my investments, I'm down 20%, and damn that hurts!

I say do it...
I don't know what it is with these trucks from the 70's and 80's. I just like em'.
My first car was a 1984 Dodge Ramcharger. The most favorite one I had was a 1983 long bed, I also had a 1988 Longbed as well.
I sure do miss the 1983 I had, the damn thing was sure fun with the 4.11 gears it had.
I may have to find another one after I sell my motorcycles.

Nice truck, but no more clutch for me. I enjoyed those days when I was young. Now I just want to put it in drive and go

i like it.. i'd change a couple things but probably worth that money all day long if it checks out in person.. look for the frame being cracked around the steering box and frame rot by the gas tank.

Good luck find them, every one that has one wants to keep it. I’ve been looking for 10 years and I have found a few, but they are all at a distance. Be prepared to put on your traveling shoes, I haven’t been able to put mine on.

Pre-OBD1 trucks are only going up in value. For 10.5 I’d offer 7 and go from there if the underside is clean.
