Despite massive equipment failures, I got a few pics of my favorite goon.

The boy is a senior this year, so I had to do his senior pics. Today worked out with weather, and our schedules.. he's a busy boy with school, work, and hockey. We did the usual nice park with a lake and trees in color thing. He wanted some pics of him in his new this year hockey jersey in the locker room.. he got permission from the coach, as no one, and I mean NO ONE, is allowed in the HS locker room (other than than the players and coaches), so we had to take advantage of it. 2 failed wireless flash transmitters in a dark room, then my cam starts locking up.. ugh. Quick mounting of a cam mounted flash with a reflector saved the day.
A couple quick edits in lightroom.
He's been playing since he was 6. He usually plays center or wing, and he's the most unselfish player I know.. he's happier with assists than he is with goals. If I had a nickel for how many times I've seen him with a break away, pull the goalie over, and do a backwards pass to a wing to get the easy goal, I'd be rich.
And if a guy starts talking ****, it's fun to watch him find the guy, and blow him up, lol.

Awesome pics. He is a big boy with talent. Kim
He's about 5'9", 220 pounds or so. He's a stout kid. It's funny when a kid who's never played against him before tries to check him and they just bounce off, lol. Hard to tell how solid a kid is with hockey gear on.

Kinda resembles Gary Seargant from the 70s North Stars .
He was their enforcer ... grew up on the Iron Range in North Minnesota

I found some pics of Dom when he was 8, already in his 3rd year of hockey. This is the start of the 2010 season, making sure his gear was good to go. With his best friend, Odie, who went to the bridge a few weeks ago. If you look close you can see my Cuda patiently waiting in the garage for me to work on it :)

Another from 2010. Dom insisted on pink laces.. he loved it when other kids would try to make fun of them. It motivated him, lol.

2010. I took this before the game started. He was looking for his mom in the stands to wave to her.
