Me too. Couldn't afford new, found a set in a junkyard, so no sticker. Rocked the Hedman and Edlebrock.
This one was highjacked Man just think if we still had our old mopars.

Never the sticker but I remember those shocks on my 74 RR . Went to go on a trip the trunk was full and the tail end seemed low so I figured I'd ad a little air and ---Boom . Those old shocks were rotted out pretty good.

Yup, I ran them in my 65 in '85. POS "Pos-a-Traction" tires were too wide on those Superior 'Typhoons' to fit under the 65 lip. Hauling passengers I had to put a few more PSI in them to keep the tires from rubbin'. Ha, they made the 10 worst rims list. .

When we went to Irwindale Raceway for the drags we did their concession stand the first trip and the burgers earned the name Blacktop Burgers among the group. After that we took a little tour and on Azusa Blvd we found this funky little In-N-Out place.
That became part of the drag racing experience at Irwindale. Years later after the strip had closed up I found out that Harry Snyder the founder of In-N-Out was a partner at Irwindale Raceway. He was either a brilliant businessman making the burgers so nasty at the track that it chased many spectators to his drive-ins or he didn't want to let food interfere with his drag racing

I used to do that too with National dragster, went through the index and sent letters to every manufacturer requesting catalogs and stickers...almost everyone of them would respond too.. Later I remember with probably my all time favorite magazine "Super Stock and Drag illustrated", it had a little card inside that had a bunch of manufacturers on it and you would just check the boxes of the info you requested and send it in to the mag...saved me a fortune in stamps......Hell, now you go to an NHRA event and hardly any of the manufacturers have catalogs anymore and your lucky to even get a free issue of National Dragster.While I love this site and make good use of the access to info on the net and the whole rapid shipping thing....I still say F--K the WWW and Cell phones.
Bring back Phone booths, Libraries, Drive-Ins, Encyclopedia Britannica, Diners, Cruise Nights and Street Races, Smoking in Restaurants and Bars, Hamburger Stands and Cheap High Octane Leaded Gas!
*****No air shocks for me and you can hardly make it out in the pic...But coolest sticker in my life at the time came when I was at the Winternationals one year and found this Unused Contestant sticker on the ground.....I was rocking that thing on my 66' Charger w/a 361 and thought I was the Cats Fkn Meow!

i pulled off the 15X8s the other day to get new tires put on
to keep the car drivable i pulled a set of N50s on 14X10s out of the shed...yeah, they needed a few extra pounds to keep the fenders from rubbing

When I was in junior high, a friend's Mom bought one of the first Demons. He gave me one of these stickers, which was on my 3-ring binder until it wore out.

Cool Demon sticker! Your right, STP stickers were all over the place in the late 60's from what I remember.
Soon as I wore out the rear tires on my '72 Duster, which didn't take long, I bought a set of ET's, some L-60's, and a set of High Jackers. Stickers went on the rear quarter glass. You didn't spend that kind of money in 1972, and not show it off. My Dad gave me a hard time about putting them on, but he sure did like to drive it.
