A E58 spec 360 will do the job.
These are great cars.
I did an 1987 5th Avenue with a E58 360.
With a 2.94 gear, it ran 14.80's.

These model of Dippy's came with smallblocks. That being said a nice roller cam 318 is a fun cheapo build! Cam and little head work, air gap and a cheap Holley 650 DP, throw some headers on and some sneaky 235/60 drag radials any go eat punks in there 5.0's and some import dweebs for desert. Gotta throw some 4.10's in for good stoplight to stoplight butt whippin' and gut all the emissions crap. Heater and AC etc. atleast that's what I'd do
 
Dodge actually calls their cars "Pursuit", not Interceptors.
That term is a Ford term.
Just putting it out there.
 
Love it. Still really want one of these. If it's a real ex-cop car that makes it all that much better.
