do you use anti seize on aluminum heads?

Just take care on the plugs to not get it near the electrodes.

Yes, a coating on all threads on all bolts and studs. Backs of washers, nuts and bolt heads.
Crazy? Maybe. Perfect looking and working aluminum heads after 20 years? Yep, I got'em.

I find it kind of odd that this would be necessary. Don't they all have steel heli-coils in them? I know the Edelbrocks I have have factory installed heli-coils in all the threaded holes except the spark plug holes... there it would be smart to put some anti-gall on the plug threads.

I do it on all the bolts in my aluminum heads.

If not steel tends to seize in the aluminum.
