I bought it off a member here quite a while back. I should have asked him more about it. Ll i know is it was for an A body.

Post a photo of the end of the sender where the tube comes out and wire post comes out.

The part that would be visable when mounted on the gas tank.

The fuel sender for A 100.van looks almost identical to the OEM a-body fuel sender and can be used in a-body. The fuel sender that Wong the Chinaman reproduces for A-body is the very late model type. Being new I assume what you have is reproduction of the van sender.

This is from a 67 or 68 A100, I've had 3 of them here.

413's picture is what an original A-body sender looks like, with a long swing arm mounted at the very top of the pipe. Dart6's photo is what the reproduction senders look like, with the short swing arm mounted lower down on the pipe. But even then, the pipe looks too short.

There is an OEM A body sender that looks like the the ops sender more or less.

It is a supersedes part and functions like an original one that looks like the one on post #5

Side note: while the aftermarket A100 senders that look like the OEM Original sender, it does not function like the original sender.

I posted a comparison of one and it was no better than the other other aftermarket senders.

Here is a side-by-side comparison of a stock 67 A-body sender and an aftermarket replacement. BTW after trying out this "replacement" I repaired the original and put it back in. Just about every detail of this new sender is completely different. Look at that stubby little float arm, and the pick-up is at right angles.

The OD of the tubing is 3/8. The unit is stainless
Full aftermarket.

OEM sender part numbers

2421493 is superseded by 2932960 which is superseded by 3621615 which is superseded by 04051004

This is a OEM supersedes sender and it is very accurate
