Or how about most Mopar people calling every 273-4 barrel a Commando! :mob::mob::mob:

Does it irk me Naa! Have mellowed out over the years.
I simply bash their windshield out with a bat for saying Posi. Then I inform them what the correct term is.
Proper terminologys.
Borg-Warner "Spin-Resistant" If it has a cone type
The Clutch type is a "Dana Powr-Lok"

No use getting all upset. Best to educate them

It bothers some, if not most, mopar guys. I don't really know why. To me, posi is generic for a lsd, kinda like jello, coke , or band-aid is generic for the product.
Even Ford guys who have about three names for their lsd's call em posi's sometimes.

I just know right away they are not a Mopar person
As much as it does annoy me, I do know some guys that are far more into performance and having fun than they are in using the correct terms.
Mopar was weird though, many terms used in service manuals are Mopar Only and feel awkward to say or write.
You know they use propeller shaft to describe what everyone else calls a drive shaft?
How about the cross bar with levers on a tube to actuate the clutch? Do you call it a Torque Shaft or a Z bar?
What is a thermo drive? Everyone else calls it a fan clutch.
Still......

On a side note,
If you meet the guy who tells you his 318 is built to 340 spec. Give them a brake they are on the spectrum. Just smile and nod.

Then there is the guy who changes his Earl.
And Cow Induction Hood
It's a real Cow induction hood car and that's no Bull.
And Has "Wild-Wood" Breaks yes I know how to spell brake and vinyl top.
For the love of God spell brake and vinyl right.

Nah, it irks me when Mopar guy's call the 383 a taxi engine.
I'd rather have a posi than a one-wheel tire burner, it's hard to get out of the hole with a peg leg.
