My girlfriend bought me a 3/8 Husky ratchet set in 1977. I still have both, the ratchet & the girlfriend (now wife). I've wrecked several Craftsman & Wright Tool ratchets since but no matter what I've done to it (including 4ft pipe as a torque multiplier) I've not been able to bust it.

My dad bought me a Husky tool set back in 2000 when I graduated high school and went off to college. I still have it, but broke the 3/8" drive ratchet last summer. Home Depot replaced it no questions asked, but I was bummed because now they are made in China and definitely not the same quality as the tools in my original set. On the other hand, if it broke anyway (through normal use), how good was it to begin with?...

Yeah, I am sure there's at least 10000 to 20000 gullible people out there. Not only are they out the $70, they also gave up their credit card numbers. That equals some big, quick, and easy money for someone.
