dog dishs on stock 14's?

I still have the original steel wheels and full hubcaps that came on the 74 swinger and they just ooze grandma style and want to paint the steel wheels either black or body color and add dog dish caps. Can I use the stock steel wheels for the dog dish caps. If so, where is the best place to look for the dog dish caps?

it should work out just fine for you. the 14" steel wheels on the front of my '71 are off of a '74 Valiant and i used the "cop car" dog dishes on them. i found the rims and the dog dishes in different junk yards. sometimes just browsing through , you can find alot of stuff. ask if they dont mind you looking around on your own and have fun looking!

Same here. My car had full wheel covers, I replaced them with dog dishes. You can find them on ebay all the time or in our classifeds. They are also available new but arent cheap at over $200 a set.

Thank you all! Now I need to find some dog dish caps. I think $200 plus is too much for dog dish caps, so I will watch ebay, the junk yards and the classifieds on this site.
